    Course Description

    Week 1: Foundation: Learn the basics of stand-up comedy and explore your own personal humor.

    Week 2: Writing: Learn to craft punchlines and funny anecdotes with a variety of techniques used in comedy.

    Week 3: Performance: Learn to use your voice and body effectively when telling a joke on stage and how to overcome stage fright.

    Week 4: Your Comedy: Share your set and receive feedback on how to improve for the Comedy Show!

    Comedy Show: It's time for you to shine and share your set on stage to a live audience!!!

    Students will have weekly homework assignments they will need to complete to make the most out of this experience.

    What's included

    Professional online classes: Four one-hour classes on zoom every Monday from 4pm - 5pm. We keep the student teacher ratio low so that participants are guaranteed personal feedback.

    A fun box of swag: T-shirt, joke journal and a variety of funny props will be delivered to your door before the classes begin. You will use the funny props during some of our lessons and your joke journal to jot down new ideas and refine old ones. Sure you can type things into your phone, but writing it down helps to committ it to memory ;)

    Live Comedy Show: After the four week course you will have a comedy set ready to share on stage. There will be a rehersal the hour before the show starts, so you get used to the microphone and have a chance to try it out. The cost of the event is covered in the course package which means the show is FREE for your family and friends to join!

    Class 3: June 16 * 4pm - 5pm * ZOOM

    Class 4: June 23 * 4pm - 5pm * ZOOM

    Live Comedy Show: June 25, 6-7pm in Atlanta. Dress rehersal will take place that same day from 4:30-5:30 pm.
